Day 2 transitions through the lush, mountainous landscape of Tsavo West, where Mzima Springs teems with hippos and crocodiles, before arriving at the foot of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli. Here, sweeping plains and Africa’s highest peak form the backdrop for unforgettable game drives featuring elephants, buffalo, zebra, and wild dogs.

Tour Plan

Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo East National Park(29 Mar)

Your adventure begins early — you'll be picked up from your residence at 6:30AM and head south towards Tsavo East, one of Kenya's oldest and largest national parks. Tsavo East is famous for its enormous elephant herds, red dust-covered landscapes, and the legendary man-eating lions that terrorised railway workers in 1898. Upon entering the park, enjoy an enroute game drive as you make your way to Sentrim Tsavo Camp in time for lunch. The afternoon is yours to relax at the camp's pool or enjoy the viewing deck overlooking a nearby watering hole. At 3:00PM, set out for an afternoon game drive in search of elephants, lions, leopards, crocodiles, kudus, antelopes, and some of the park's 500+ recorded bird species. Return to camp at 6:00PM for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Sentrim Tsavo Camp | Full Board

Day 2: Tsavo West & Onward to Amboseli (30 Mar)

After an early breakfast, pack your bags and depart with packed lunch boxes for Tsavo West National Park. Unlike its eastern counterpart, Tsavo West is more mountainous and dramatically green, with swamps, rocky hills, and the famous Mzima Springs — a crystal-clear oasis fed by underground volcanic rock, home to Nile crocodiles, hippos, zebras, elephants, and blue and vervet monkeys. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route before continuing the drive to Amboseli National Park, nestled at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for dinner and check-in at Sentrim Amboseli Camp, where the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro provides a truly dramatic backdrop.

Day 3 — Full Day in Amboseli National Park (31 Mar)

Spend a full day exploring the iconic Amboseli National Park — one of Africa's greatest wildlife spectacles. Despite covering only 150 square miles, Amboseli is home to over 50 large mammal species and 400 bird species. Start with a morning game drive as herds of elephants move across open plains with Kilimanjaro towering in the background — a photographer's dream. Watch for Cape buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, and the elusive wild dog. During the midday heat, relax at the camp's facilities, enjoy lunch, and soak in the mountain views. Head out again in the afternoon for another game drive as the golden light of dusk transforms the plains. Return to camp for dinner and your final night under African skies.

Day 4 — Amboseli to Nairobi (1 Apr)

Enjoy a leisurely final breakfast at the camp before checking out and beginning the scenic drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival in the city, you'll be transferred directly to your residence, arriving in the early afternoon. A perfect end to an unforgettable Kenyan safari circuit.
