Tour Plan

Touch down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and be met by your personal representative for a seamless transfer to the elegant Hemmingways Nairobi, nestled in the leafy Karen suburb with sweeping views of the Ngong Hills. This boutique luxury hotel — a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World — sets the perfect tone for the adventure ahead. Settle in, enjoy the complimentary use of the gym, sauna, steam and outdoor pool, and wake up ready for the wild.

Overnight: Hemmingways Nairobi | Bed & Breakfast

Depart Nairobi and head southeast into the dramatic, mountainous terrain of Tsavo West National Park. This lush, green landscape is a striking contrast to the dusty plains — fed by underground springs and dotted with swamps, rocky hills, and ancient lava flows. The highlight is Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear water bubbles up from volcanic rock, drawing hippos, Nile crocodiles, zebras, elephants, and monkeys. Peer into the underwater viewing chamber for a rare glimpse of hippos gliding beneath the surface. Back at the legendary Finch Hattons Luxury Camp — one of Kenya's most acclaimed tented camps — you'll enjoy award-winning hospitality, world-class cuisine, and game drives that reveal buffaloes, elands, lesser kudus, waterbucks, and hartbeests among the sweeping wilderness.

Overnight: Finch Hattons Luxury Camp | Full Board

Drive to Amboseli National Park, where Africa's highest mountain — Mount Kilimanjaro — dominates the horizon in all its snow-capped glory. Despite its compact size, Amboseli packs a remarkable punch: over 50 large mammal species and 400 bird species call this park home. It is widely regarded as the best place in Africa to get close to large elephant herds, and encounters with Maasai giraffe, lion, cheetah, Cape buffalo, zebra, and wild dog are a regular feature of game drives here. Spend two days exploring with morning and afternoon drives, relaxing at the exquisite Tortillis Camp where every tent enjoys a private view of the mountain.

Overnight: Tortillis Camp | Full Board

After breakfast, wind your way through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha — Kenya's highest freshwater lake, fringed by papyrus reeds and yellow fever acacia trees. Arrive at the charming Loldia House, a beautifully restored farmhouse retreat set on the lake's north-western shores with an infinity pool perched on a rocky outcrop between ancient fig trees. After a leisurely lunch on the lawn with views of Mount Longonot, join the resident naturalist for a guided walk through the conservancy, then hop aboard a boat for a ride to Crescent Island — a sanctuary where giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 450 bird species roam freely with no predators. A truly magical afternoon.

Overnight: Loldia House | Full Board

The pinnacle of the Kenyan safari experience awaits as you arrive at the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve — Kenya's most celebrated game park and one of the greatest wildlife destinations on earth. Home to the Big Five and the stage for the world-famous Great Migration (July–October), the Mara's endless golden plains stretch to the horizon under vast African skies. Your base is the exclusive Elewana Sand River Maasai Mara, positioned right on the migration route along the scenic Sand River, with views across to the grassy hills of Tanzania. Spend two full days on exhilarating game drives — witnessing predator hunts, river crossings, and the sheer spectacle of thousands of animals on the move. An optional hot-air balloon safari is available at an extra cost.

Overnight: Elewana Sand River Maasai Mara | Full Board

Enjoy a final breakfast at the camp before beginning the scenic drive back to Nairobi, passing the dormant volcano Mount Longonot and the shimmering lakes Elementaita and Naivasha along the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Keep your eyes peeled for herds of giraffe and gazelle on the way. Arrive in Nairobi in the early afternoon for a memorable farewell dinner at the iconic Carnivore Restaurant — Nairobi's legendary open-air meat feast. Following dinner, you'll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight home, carrying the memories of a truly magical Kenya.
